Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CameraRentSaaS ("Service"), operated by CameraRentSaaS ("we," "our," or "us"), based in the Philippines. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

CameraRentSaaS is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides camera rental businesses ("Clients") with an online booking system, gear inventory management, customer management, and payment tracking tools. Clients receive a dedicated booking page that their customers ("End Users") can use to browse and reserve rental equipment.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Accounts are for individual businesses only. You may not share your account with other businesses.
• You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to operate a business in the Philippines.

3. Subscription and Payment

• CameraRentSaaS is offered on monthly or annual subscription plans as described on our pricing page.
• A 14-day free trial is available with no credit card required. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue.
• Subscription fees are billed in Philippine Peso (PHP) via GCash, bank transfer, or other accepted payment methods.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active Clients.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent gear listings or pricing.
• Collect or store end-customer data beyond what is needed for legitimate rental business purposes.
• Violate any applicable Philippine law or regulation.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the platform or its code.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code through the platform.

5. Client Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your gear listings, pricing, and availability.
• You are responsible for fulfilling bookings made through your booking page.
• You must comply with all applicable laws regarding rental agreements, consumer protection, and data privacy (including the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012).
• You must obtain all necessary business permits and licenses required to operate a camera rental business in your area.

6. Intellectual Property

CameraRentSaaS retains all intellectual property rights to the platform, its code, design, and branding. You retain ownership of your business data (gear listings, customer records, bookings) and may export it at any time. You grant us a limited license to store and process your data to provide the Service.

7. Service Availability

We aim for 99%+ uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We perform maintenance with advance notice when possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary service downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, CameraRentSaaS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost bookings, lost revenue, or customer disputes. Our total liability to you in any month shall not exceed the subscription fee paid for that month.

9. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
• Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the appropriate courts of the Philippines. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active Clients by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
